What a fabulous background story! I'm quite blown away. I love how you could give a very different personality to all of them and that you could make me feel like I had known them for quite some time. There is too much I liked in this to give a detailed list but I definitely squeaked when you mentioned Cutler's toy boat in the bath. Awwwwww. Adorable. Wonderful wonderful story! :)

Even if Beckett didn't come from a family like this, I'm very sure that he had a toy boat in the bath when he was little. I can imagine little toddler Cutler sitting in the water, carefully navigating the little Endeavour around the bubbles!

But it's made me curious as to how Cutler turned out as calculated as he did considering he didn't have an all too bad upringing.

And I can totally imagine one of his brothers trying to borrow money from him down the road.

Well he's still only eight in this fic, he has plenty of time to become slightly evi... I mean, calculating. I'm thinking some dastardly event in his mid teens, or as a young adult.

... I bet Jack Sparrow is involved. Jack Sparrow is always involved, it seems =P

Most definitely. Richard and/or Edward would totally come knocking on his door at the nearest opportunity. I think Gregory has things covered though.

Then little Cutler had come running into the room, shrieking like a banshee, pausing only to stare at his grandparents in confusion for a few moments before screaming again. I have had my nephews do this to me. :D

Aww, this is just awesome. I've never really thought about Beckett having siblings and especially not a lot. Very good writing, I really liked it. ^.^

I tried to give each child their own little quirk, and decided on screaming for Cutler. I doubt Beckett did have siblings, but I thought it would be really fun to write him having a lot of brothers and it was =)
