I believe its a small percentage of what your price is... maybe 2-3?
It's calculated when you have a transaction and added to your etsy bill for the month. The most expensive thing I've sold I believe was around 15.00 and I've never paid more than I think 50 cents for a transaction.
It is 20 cents to put an item up for sale on etsy.
Wow. I can't even begin to tell you how jealous i am. I haven't been baby free for longer than 8 hours (we're talking 8 hours at WORK here) since...uh...since she was born. God that sounds terrible. My problem is, although i have family here, no one is willing to take her for more than a few hours. Not that she's trouble, it's just that not one wants to give up their weekend to a toddler. Le sigh.
