I would totally pipe up! You can make it sound somewhat casual, like you're just curious about why they didn't change her. Or let them know that she has sensitive skin or something and going 6 hours without a clean diaper is just plain dangerous for rash. They need to know that what they did, or didn't do, was wrong.
Yeah, I will probably mention that she needs a change before bed next time they watch her. They don't get her very often, so it won't be an issue for a while now.
Yeah, I think maybe the diaper thing needs to be addressed in a diplomatic way just because you don't want it to happen if they watch her again.
It's so frustrating when men don't want to rock the boat with their parents for the sake of their own family. This is the second of such items I've read on my friend's page in as many days. I had to work on my husband on that one for a bit, but he's much better now.
That is sooo aggravating! Isn't it so much harder to have the inlaws watch kids than our own parents? I hardly have to tell my mom anything; with the inlaws, you practically have to write a novel of instructions, and they still don't get it. I know you had to have been irate, to put it mildly. =/
