Books I read in 2012

Jan 04, 2012 01:02

My only resolution for this year is to keep track of what I read so here goes.

Bold is for rereads
underline is for the books in the book club for the Tucson Scifi/Fantasy Society
crossed out are for books I didn't like.

First of all, almost 200 books is so freaking impressive. Girl, you are one fast reader! I envy that so much.

From your list, I've read, of course, all the Harry books, all of the Percy Jackson books, 1 of the Lost Heroes book, the Hunger Games series, Game of Thrones and 2 of the Harry Dresden books for a total of 20.

I got a good way through City of Bones and the library demanded it back. I'm going to have to go get it again. I really, really liked the part that I had read so far.

well You'd read more too if you didn't have a full time job and beautiful girl to worry about.

I'm surprised you never read the other heroes or the egypt ones(can't remember what the series name was)

I am very excited because Cassie is coming to Phoenix in march for the tour for Clockwork Princess. I already bought a copy for myself and a copy for my cousin Lauren to have signed and I'll have to see what the policy is on getting other books signed.

I have the Heroes ones to read, and started them, and then my daughter came and hauled them to her room to read. I must go fish those back out as I think she's done with the 2nd one now! I plan to read the Egypt ones too!

That sounds like an exciting time with Cassie! I talked to my mom yesterday about starting those. She picked up the first one at a flea market and was saying she might start it last night. I'll have to ask her if that's the one she chose out of her book pile.

book stealing is one of the rights of parents. or that at least is what my parents told me when they stole mine. now of course all books are fair game though you have to return them when demanded back and mom tends to get angry when she thinks she misplaced her book only to find one of us took it.

I am very excited, though this will be much larger than when i saw her on the tour for City of Ashes where there were maybe 50 people at the very most.
