Hayley thought for a moment. That really didn't seem like a likelihood.

"Well, I could always get a jump start on working, right? There's plenty of places in town that need girls to help, right?"

In theory, though, anything could be useful.

"That's true," she said, smiling softly. "A walk through town to see what is hiring might be a good idea. You could buy ice cream and just enjoy the town while you do that."
