I've taken a huge step down. I took at job at a bakery, because everything else in the area seems to be either at the local plants (I have no experience, there's a long line of people wanting the jobs there, and I am not a chemist or certified in any way), or in the medical field (not qualified there at all). Ned will knock the wife up when either of us has a "real" job (grad students are seriously poor). I'm not offended by your lack of desire to move to SoCal. I HATE it here, we're dying to finish and move somewhere, anywhere.

I'm sure things will come together (that's the eternal optimist I tried to murder before my 18th birthday who some how managed to stay alive).

I suppose you're not blonde enough to fit SoCal. That's probably a good thing.

I kind of want Boston ultimately. Well, actually I want Dublin, and I want Swift to still be around, but I don't think that's an option. I want four seasons, I suppose, and I want to feel a little more Irish on a daily basis. I don't know why I want that, but I do.

I've heard of the Grad Student financial woes. I pain your feel. And don't murder the optimist. We need people like her. It makes us realists feel slightly better about the world, because it makes the pessimists look even sillier.
