I heard about Mr. Irwin's death the other day and it's still hard to believe. I never really watched his show (I don't think I ever did...actually...) but I knew of him. It's still sad, though.

...But I still can't watch things on it, anymore. I feel bad because of that, but...

No, it isn't.

It's more unnerving that there's camera footage of him moments before he died. I'm not sure exactly how I'd feel if I had a concrete memory of my parents moments before they passed, but it can't be a good thing for his family.

...They do? I didn't know... I'm not sure that's something other people should see, though. It seems a little too personal, you know?

Yeh, they were (and still might be) contemplating airing it publically. There's also audio footage of the Grizzly Man's last moments--all sound of him being mauled to death by the bears 'e studied. That en't ever gonna be released.

It is odd. He was an icon, and in the public eye, immortal. This is an blow, to know he is most certainly not.

Yes. I never really thought much of it. He's just...always been there, talking about animals. Even if you don't follow his show, we all still knew of him. Now it feels so strange...

Yes. Personally, I never saw any of his work, but his voice got all the way to China.

Shows how much we cling to celebrities, I suppose.
