Summary: Ryutaro receives quite a few presents on Valentine's Day

Ugh...Valentine's Day. Ryutaro struck an arm out to shut his alarm off. He snuggled back into the covers, letting the moments pass by before his mom came in to wake him up.

The morning passed with him walking in a slump and fog. Couples everywhere, being all rabu-rabu. It made his heavy shoulders drag his feet slower.

"Oi! Ryutaro!" He stopped with enough coutesy to turn around for whoever called him.

Keito and Yamada bounded up to them, hands full of balloons and a large teddy-bear respectively. No doubt from girls who had them in their classes.

"Happy Valentine's Day!" Ryutaro was shocked. The presents were thrust to him. Yamada smiled brightly, patting him on the head. (Quite the feat, as Yamada had to stand on his toes to reach.) "See you later!" Keito waved along with Yamada, running off to class.

"Uhm...thanks?" Ryutaro looked ath them items. ...What exactly was he supposed to do with these?

After much manuevering, Ryutaro finally arrived at his locker. Well...he'd have to stuff everything in there. He'd apologize later. Nevermind what his response would be.

Opening it, his mouth began to salivate. A large chocolate box (from Daiki. OMG, Daiki never gave away chocolate!), a CD with music from all his favorite artists (Tackey and Tsuabasa, SMAP - joined together by Hikaru), and a card, sitting proudly on top it all. Opening it, a poem was written in italics...

Dance, Dance, Dance the night away
On this special lover's day
Dance only for my eyes to see
Smile for me, be with me

Under the stars
Under the night sky
I will be yours
So can you be mine?

Meet me tonight
Be by my side
Please don't go
Run and Hide

Let me say
That I love you
And I hope you'll say
You love me, too

Oh Oh boy. This all got a bit more complicated.

He walked into class with the balloons, bear, and chocolates. He gave an apologetic look to his teacher and a glare to all his classmates. Thankfully, he sat in the back. The presents weren't in anybody's way.

Gym turned into a hassle. He remembered his uniform was still in his locker. As the boys stepped out to change, he excused himself and ran back.

Ryutaro's hand was on the latch. No...there was nothing new in his locker. Just his uniform, some books, and the poem and CD. That's it. Nodding to himself, he pulled.

Wrong.

Petals fell cut and a bouquet tumbled at his feet. His fingers wrapped around the stalks - 11 - and they were cold. The bright red roses were real, all of them.

Ryutaro noticed the string tag, wrapped around the end. Turning it around, his blood ran cold. To Morimoto Ryutaro. From Takaki Yuya. That made 6, 6 members liked him.

Thankfully, the rest of school nobody else popped up with presents. Nobody came up with letters. It was strange. He woke up dreading Valentine's Day and now, he was stark-raving terrified.

His bag was heavy at the end of the day and it was still difficult to walk, holding onto the balloons and the beat at the same time. He tried to think about how he would explain this all to his mom when Yuto approached him.

He felt a paper being pushed into his hand. He looked down - an address. To Room 909 of the Hatsukoi Hotel. "Come by later." Yuto whispered, winking. He was trying not to laugh outright at Ryutaro's gobbing mouth.

Cold metal wrapped around his neck. Ryutaro jumped, but the hands continued whatever they were doing. "You might want to wear this, too."

"Yabu?" The leader's shape came into sight. Yuto and Yabu walked away, not answering anything of Ryutaro's expression.

Ryutaro hurried over to a bench. He tired the strings around his wrists (why didn't he think of that in the first place?) before undoing whatever Yabu put on his neck.

It was a silver, chain necklace with a guitar-pick-shaped pendant hanging off, with the engravings 'Y & R'

Seriously! Did every Hey!Say member like him?

It was an hour later that he stepped into the Hatsukoi Hotel. He felt self-conscious, looking at all the fancy-dressed people in the lobby. "Uhm...Room 909, please." His face blushed wildly and he refused to look at the secretary. He took the key and rushed into the elevator.

Thankfully, nobody was on the 9th floor. Or in the room. He saw no one. Well, maybe Yuto hadn't showed up yet. He noticed a table and began putting down the presents.

"Ryu-chan?" Ryutaro turned around. With a damp head, Chinen stared at him in a pair of jeans and nothing else.

"Chii?" Ryutaro rose an eyebrow. His eyes zeroed in on the table. "You..." he sighed, holding the bridge of his nose. Oh yeah, this was actually happening. "What are you going to give me?"

Chinen picked at his nails, trying to gather his courage. Ryutaro was surprised when a twin set of smooth lips met his cheek. Looking up, Chinen was looking down. Ryutaro touched his necklace it clicked together. "The gifts...they were all from you, weren't they?" Chinen nodded, biting on his lip as he nodded. His chest was tight - he held his breath for Ryutaro's answer.

That breath whooshed out when Ryutaro started laughing. Once again, Chinen nodded, slowly turning to hide his tears, his rejection.

Ryutaro's arms wrapped around his waist. Chinen looked at him over his shoulders - the shoulders that Ryutaro was kissing. "Ryu-chan..."

Ryutaro winked at him. "You're the only one I want to spend Valentine's Day with."

Chinen smiled from ear to ear. "Really?" Ryutaro smiled, nodding. Chinen actually twirled out Ryutaro's arms, pulling the younger to a bubbling jacuzzi. Two robes hung nearby.

"Wait!" Ryutaro pulled away, wlaking to the drawing room. Chinen waited patiently and anxiously. Then Ryutaro returned with the chocolate box. "I haven't eaten them yet."

Chinen smiled. Together they stepped into the water. An arm wrapped around Chinen's waist and two lounged around Ryutaro's neck. "Happy Valentine's Day."
