Summary: Yesung loses Sungmin and Ryeowook in a storm
“Hey, you crypt-ers!” Heechul screamed as he opened the door to the 11th floor. Sungmin and Ryeowook, who sat upon the couch between Yesung and a visiting Donghae, perfked up. Sungmin jumped off, barking at his hyung. The diva playfully kicked him away, careful not to cause any real damage. “Get away, you rabbit, before I set you on you.” Sungmin barked - a laugh.
Heechul kneeled down and Heebum jumped out, stalking around the hyper singer. He smiled and sat before Ryeowook, petting him gently. “How you doing, kid?” The maknae lifted his head and nipped at Heechul’s finger. His hyung laughed and pulled on his ear. Ryeowook looked past and watched Sungmin’s futile attempts to get the spoiled cat to play. Heechul’s smile broadened and gently picjed him up, placing him beside his pet and dongsaeng.
“Heechul, what are you doing here?” Leeteuk asked as he entered from the kitchen.
“I thought of passing by. Heebum needs some attention and I wanted to see how Wookie was faring. How have things been here?”
Leeteuk took the dogs’ seat. “They haven’t changed back since we came home from the clinic. Thankfully, they’re on rest. Sungmin’s been staying by Wookie’s side a lot. That’s about it.”
Heechul smiled and looked at the voice of Super Junior. “You may want to watch out, Jongwoon. The rabbit may steal your boyfriend from right under your nose.”
Yesung scoffed. “Ever since they became dogs, I’ve understood that having him as boyfriend is completely different from the connection that he has with Sungmin.” Heechul laughed.
He poked at Donghae. “So…How’s the dance coming?”
“Dance-nim is still giving me and Hyukkie pointers. Shindong-ah’s got a few good ideas, though.”
Leeteuk nodded. “You guys shouldn’t work so hard; I’m sure everything will come together in time.” He brushed at the boy’s bangs, who twitched away with a smile.
“What’s the next song’s concept?”
“We’re supposed to be about - ”
“Heechul!” Leeteuk cut off the other 83-er, diving to the ground.
Heechul turned around and gasped. “Heebum! You stupid cat!”
Sungmin backed away in a daze and tripped over his own paws, rubbing one of them gently over the oozing cut across his snout. Ryeowook - even in his small and weakened state - stood tall and barked his head off at the cat. Heebum hissed and raised his claws. Heechul swiped his foot at his stomach, earning yowl and scratch on his own foot.
Ryeowook sneezed and walked over to Sungmin. The two shifted to humans as the younger held his hyung. Though they now walked on two legs, Ryeowook licked gently on the cut on Sungmin’s cheek.
