“Lost?! What do you mean you lost them?” Leeteuk paced around the 11th floor. “How could you lose them? Ugh! Forget it! Keep searching, I’ll be there in ten minutes.” Leeteuk snapped the phone shut and grabbed his coat.
“Hyung, where are you going?” Kangin appeared with concern evident on his face and his steps accompanied by light thundering.
“Yesung lost Sungmin and Ryeowook at the park.”
Kangin dropped his coffee. “But…there’s a giant storm coming!”
“Why do you think I’m so pissed?!” Leeteuk screamed back as he left the apartment. Kangin pounded on the wall. “Yah! Shindong! Sungmin and Ryeowook are lost!”
“BWOH?!” The rapper emerged from his room, already in his shoes and jacket. The duo followed after their leader and out into the rain.
“Sungmin-ah! Wookie-ah! Their voices drowned into the rain and could even be heard underneath the thunder. Yesung felt even worse as the rain got heavier and heavier and the minutes dragged on and on.
“Any luck?” Yesung asked as he and Kangin met up, coincidentally.
“If I had any luck, do you think we’d still be standing here?!” Yesung flinched at Kangin’s sharp tongue. “Where were they before you lost them?”
“I don’t know. Sungmin was playing Ryeowook and they were running…the forest!” Kangin and Yesung shared a look and made their way through the bushes.
“Sungmin-ah! Ryeowook-ah!” Kangin and Yesung’s voices called.
A small shriek was heard…maybe…before another thunderstrike. “Yesung, shut up!” Kangin screamed. The singer stopped in his moving and calling. “Sungmin-ah! Ryeowook-ah!” Both opened their ears, listening past the rain and rumbling.
Another shriek.
“It’s coming from this way!” Yesung yelled. The two jumped through the mud to a thick bush. Peeling back, they both shared a breath.
A deep black Dachshund laid heavily across a smaller Yorkshire Terrier. Each took one of them under their arms. Kangin held the Dachshung to his face. “Yah! You scared us, you stupid rabbit!” Kangin held it close to his chest. “How is he?”
“He’s coughing. Did you bring towels?”
“In the car. Let’s go before they get anymore sick.” Yesung nodded and the two trudged out of the forest.
“Leeteuk-hyung! We found them!” Kangin screamed. Against every whim, the leader had to go and check himself, he only nodded and ran to the car. Kangin and Yesung ran, too and wrapped the dogs in four layers of towels.
