Agreed on both Rama and Ravanna (and Sita would have done better if she was less of a doormat -- for herself and for the countless women to whom she was held out as an example). And while we're on this topic, what do you think of Nina Paley's Sita Sings the Blues?
The sad thing is that while I've looked forward to it since I first heard of it, I've been waiting for this story to be done -- and in the meantime seem to have developed migraine-type headaches to many videos.
So... we'll discuss when I've seen it if I'm able to see it, *sigh*
