Heads up -- Fantasy Book Critic is giving away two copies of Clockwork Phoenix 3! They also have ken_schneyer 's story Lineage posted online for free; Lineage is in CP3, so it's a first-one's-free :).

ObNote: CP3 does contain a story by loud homophobe John C Wright, too, so if that makes it no-go for you, you are warned.

I didn't want to read it, but I figured I ought to at least see. I think I got about a page and a half in. Incomprehensible twaddle.

Shweta's, on the other hand, is wonderful and clever and mythic.
