I fit five of the categories but have not enough time for pleasure reading, alas :(

Also, in order to vote, does one actually need to attend WorldCon? Or just have a supporting membership in hand?

Supporting membership allows nominating/voting but not attendance.

And yeah, I think lack of time/energy/ability to deal with fail is as much a stopper for marginalized people as money is, in general.
