Sorry for the radio silence! Keyboard's fixed but I've been borked -- messed up my meds on Saturday and have had Consequences. Whups.

One consequence is that I've had to utterly tune out anything that even might be stressy. (On which note, I haven't even looked at lj for a week or so, so if there's something I shouldn't have missed, please let me ( Read more... )

That is really brilliant. I am not a spoony at the moment, but it really spoke to me, a distillation of putting oneself into the hands of the medical establishment, however well-intentioned.

Granted, I was getting all the blood work because of parts of the medical establishment finally actually working (thus all the tests that should have been done three years ago), but there's just something fundamentally creepy about the process. Especially to a brain warped my way I guess...
