Birthday thingy & anecdote request

(I'd consider any anecdotes to be part of the birthday present, so extra-invite them this time!)

The stones shown here are of unquestionable high birth, of course.  verified by astrologers and gemstone geneaologists both, and proven by the continued strength of the Padishah Begum and her lands.

Regarding recent controversies, I like the notion, brought up on the Wikipedia page, that a cultured pearl counts as a real pearl. I can imagine the debates and snubs. Can't you imagine the other pearls looking down their noses at the cultured pearl? Seeing it as a parvenue, a member of the nouveau riche. And yet to others, the cultured pearl is a champion of hard work over accident of birth!
