Thanks. Shuuhei must have known the reaction it would get when he put it on there. He couldn't have been so naive as to get it as a tribute to Kensei alone. He had to know.

aw, I actually liked this. Was it the characters you felt weren't talking to you enough for you to get it how you liked?

I really enjoyed the banter between Rukia and Renji over Hisagi, it really seemed like something they would do.

And Renji's thoughts at the end were just great. :)

I was a bit disappointed in the banter. I wanted it to be more clever. But I guess it's not bad. Maybe it's the minimal Renji/Shuuhei interaction. I mean it was only a little at the end. I'll have to write another with more interaction next time. Thanks for the review!

I would love if you wrote another one shot with more Renji/Hisagi interaction.

It is a one shot though, so you don't want it to be too long and to explain everything out, so I think this one is a good start. :)

Thanks. This is part of a series that I call Awkward over at fanfiction.net but here I have posted them as oneshots since they really are independent of one another. The only thing they have in common is awkwardness... I will write more. I already have the next one thought out!

I just hate the feeling of awkwardness in general. I mean, I get uncomfortable with simple hand holding, nevermind.... shoving someone accidentally to the ground. I suppose I like hiding in the background then being the focus, so reading that with Renji I'm all D: !! Oh geez, poor guy.
