Anything that has to be bestowed on you from someone else isn't something you've earned yourself, is it? As far as I've seen, those with 'Earl', or 'Sir', or anything else in front of their names became just as habituated and lazy on this island as any of the other idiots here.

I cannot speak for others here who might possibly have titles, but I certainly have no intention of staying here while the Organization needs me back home.

I assume a way out has been looked for, in the past?

We'll see. You are hardly the first to say that.

It has, several times. There is a barrier three kilometers off the coast that so far has been impervious to attacks on it. There is no point high enough that it can be flown over, either. And still there is no hint of who our captors are, or what motivates them, though there are theories.
