I hope everyone is dealing with the massive amounts of snow okay and is safe and warm. I drove back from Ft. Collins to Denver yesterday afternoon. It was very sloppy and a lot of cars were off the road but I didn't have any problems with my 4x4 truck. Of course, I've lived here most of my life and don't drive like an idgit. Yea, grad school is challenging, but I agree that if it's not hard, there's a problem, lol.

Thanks! I'm really jazzed because I finally have a prof who provides feedback on my papers. Being told I need some deeper research is not a bad thing. The thing that's so interesting about grad school is that most of the time there are no real right or wrong answers, just poorly defended ones ;-) But wow, the stuff I can pull out of my head when challenged truly amazes me.

Thanks for the bday wishes, bud! I'm glad to hear you're doing okay, even if it sounds like you're super busy and the job sitch still isn't great. I have to admit, your new course of study sounds fascinating though. Even if it is grim, ahaha. I knew you'd fight through all of this. You're a survivor, dude.

Aw, thanks bud! Oh man, I'm doing some totally amazing stuff! My grad school program has just done amazing things for my brain, lol! Last fall I was like, "Ack! I need to have, like, ORIGINAL thoughts?!?!?!?!" And I'm now certified to do research on actual human beings???? Damn ( ... )
