I went to bed last night giggling over his "I didn't know you were dating anyone..." line. Just that little part. The rest of it was very sweet.
Because it sounds just a little absurd/geeky to say that while they're sitting aboard a Wraith ship. But he's a guy and had probably rehearsed it in his head for when he got a chance to tell her.
Hee! It was a very good episode and I keep saying the same thing in every comment I make regarding it, but I am just amazed at the emotion (finally) that we're getting from the writers! I'm too cynical to think it will last for more than an episode or so, but for once it was nice to have them actually *deal* with the emotional impact of Teyla's preganancy. I mean, it affects all of them, because right now, they are her family and support system.
And yes, could Lorne not be more awesome! The man is perfect! Well...except for his tendency to go all uber-soldier when fed stimulants. ;-)
The only thing I'm sorry about is that there was no Sam. Which... okay, I can live with that, but I always find it a little odd when they don't even *refer* to her. That said, I honestly didn't realize it until long after the ep was over.
There was action and blowing things up and lovely little character moments that yes, I think we've all been waiting a long time for. And it's sort of layered because even now, I'm having additional thoughts about it.
Lorne is just wonderful and I'm so glad to see more of him. He's kind of hot when he's all hopped up on stimulants! Okay, he's hot when he's not, too ;)
Yeah, after my rant last week, I was perfectly fine with her not being mentioned this week. It was like how they cut the scenes/explained the urgency in others that made me not automatically think "uh, shouldn't you check with Sam on this?"
