I like how nervous Lorne was when Teyla was asking her questions.

For some reason I see most of my favored female characters as fairly assertive. Not sure if it's projection or my choice of characters.

Two sides of the same thing, most likely.

Oh, this is deliciously hot! I love that Teyla knows exactly what she wants and how to get it. The subtle differences in the use of language between Athosians and Earthers is something that a lot of people forget, and it works perfectly here with the use of the word "spill" instead of something that we're more used to, like "come".

I thought that while Teyla may be familiar with "come" for one reason or another, it wouldn't be natural for her to say it. "Spill" was one of those things that came to me at the moment, so I'm really pleased that it worked as intended.

I'm very glad I participated, I just wish that work hadn't been so harrowing that I was late.

Thank you so much! I'm sorry I didn't give feedback sooner, but my fic was late too, and I didn't want to read my story until I'd turned in my fic. I really appreciate this, and the story is absolutely delightful! Hot, shows a nicely burgeoning relationship, and Shep's still the overprotective dork that we know he would be.

Oh, not a problem! I understand completely. I just got home from Dragoncon late last night, so I'm sorry I haven't responded sooner as well.

I'm very pleased that you like the story. It was fun to write a sparring scene morphing into something else. And yes, somehow I just couldn't keep Shep entirely out of it. I actually imagine that the conversation between him and Teyla being rather longer than I implied. He'd be cranky about it, too, simply because it's something he really doesn't want to know, but probably *should* know. And yes, overprotective as well, which would probably irritate Teyla ;)
