Me, I've been a Rodney fan all along, so I really liked this ep. He was still the "I'm better than you" Rodney he's always been, but the "good-bye" stuff felt so right. Kinda like he was trying to make up for being a pain in the backside for everyone else.

I agree. All of his 'goodbye' gestures felt really honest and without any of his generally self-serving attitude.

Hmm, I wonder if that's why I'm suddenly seeing an upsurge of Rodney/Elizabeth fics. The 'you love me' stuff at the end was pretty cute.

You know, I don't think I've ever really settled on any particular pairing for Atlantis.

The view from the rear was particularly nice, even though the tunic covers his rear. The outline was fabulous though!

I still have to write out my thoughts in my own LJ, but I wanted to touch on something here because you brought it up. And that's the differences between Sam and Vala, or, in this case, the difference in their relationships with Daniel. Which I felt was really evident here and well-played too ( ... )

Hee! Thanks for the visual of Sam 'rooting around' in Daniel's pants! But you're so right - he'd let her do it with only the mildest of confused expressions on his face. He'd just figure she had her reasons and it'd be good enough for him ;) What a fabulous way to get through your work ( ... )

I agree with you. I should have been a two-parter. They omitted that Daniel/Vala I'm-so-glad-you're-back-scene I so desperately needed. ;)
