First of all, I must direct your attention to this bit of brilliance from surrealphantast who has beautifully summed up BNF-ness of several fandoms. Complete with Venn diagrams. It totally kept me from going postal yesterday.

What kind of dog is he? My friend has a cockerpoo that gets so much mileage out of his bed. She tried changing beds but he won't have any of it.

I've noticed that the smaller dogs I've encountered tend to do it a lot. Our Little Guy humps his toys *rolls eyes* But our Big Guy only seems to get the urge once in awhile.

But my dogs are gay and get off on each other so they might not be the best comparison.

He's a Vizsla - a Hungarian hunting dog. Actually, he looks like a little red Weimeriner. But he's not really that small. Pretty big for the bed-humping thing.

He apparently doesn't have much memory of the event either, since he's casting around under my desk for the bed that used to be there. Must have been some kind of frenzy.

Oh, our standard poodle we had when I was a kid used to be like that with dog beds. We never could give him any kind of soft bed, just blankets, because he would go nuts with every one we gave him and just NOT lay off. The first one we gave him was sort of golden and fuzzy so I guess it was just too much like an apricot poodle.*g*

Sorry about the mess...

And as for the work situation, it SUCKS ROYALLY and I wish I had some brilliant and helpful advice, but having little experience in that sort of area myself, I'm utterly useless except for looking on sympathetically.

I honestly don't know what Nageed's deal was last night. But poor thing no longer has *any* beds that he likes.

Oh, I agree. It's funny as hell!

The only sad thing is that I currently have no money to replace them. And they are *totally* destroyed. Shredded foam *everywhere*. I suspect I'll be finding bits and pieces months from now!
