It does look natural, and your hair doesn't look all dried out, so that's awesome. Will it wash out, or will it be permanent?

it's permanent...as far as i know...i wonder if it might fade quicker than synthetic, but we'll see...;)

hey i used the exact same product when i still lived in switzerland, just i had the color "mahagoni"
i have a bout the same haircolor like you, maybe little darker. i always left the color in for like 2 and a half hour and it got very red. i heard though that you can leave it in as long as you want to, so yes, maybe have it in for 3 or 4 hours next time?
although yeah, it is very heavy on the head, so it would be most comfortable to sit in a couch where you can lean your head from time to time

here's an old post from 2004 when i had very long hair and dyed it, alot of pics!

you're welcome
yes i think i have used henna 6 times or so
i love it because it still looks pretty natural, because the color goes around your own haircolor
though it looks like a big cow-shite on your head when applied ;)
i tried "normal" (chemical) hairdye once, at the hairdresser, and that wasn't really the same, i like henna more, also because it's even good for your hair, which chemical dye isn't

i think it looks good on you, it's a nice red hue!
