I ship Castle and Beckett about as much as I ship Booth and Bones - that is, not at all, beyond the "the UST is cute but please don't fuck it up" angle. :x

Yeah, pretty much. :x I just think it would f up their dynamics if they were to become a couple.

Well to be fair my canon is ended--if I canon update Genius he'll either be slightly more insane or totally fucked up insane. I'm not sure either of which are necessarily FUN for Derrick to deal with. The downside (upside?) of where I took him from is he doesnt remember Bennett (Summer Glau) which sucks for River Tam hijinks but good for his overall mental health. I think.

If you want to reset him I can easily kill Genius without updating. At least it wouldn't be so bad if they rehatch together (I VOTE THE SAME COCOON).

I'm still undecided. DX It would be awesome for him to have access to those memories, and I know the Spamily would welcome him right back into the fold, but... idk.
