I'm enjoying the hell out of Goseiger so far, too! <3 I actually quite liked Shinken (though it's not one of my all time favourite sentais) but I dig that this is so very *different*.
I admit, I'm kind of a sucker for the inexperienced/apprentice-type teams... *eyes S.P.D. with the two total newbs + three trainees formula*
I gave up on Shinken because I personally could not find anything to enjoy about it. :s I didn't like any of the characters, and for me, if I don't like them, it's hard for me to get into.
::nods:: I really like that they've all got a believable history together (I actually believe that they've known each other for some time) but they're only trainees.
Oh, I hear that. I like the Shinkengers, but I know what it's like. :)
Agreed. I'm sure they were all put together as a trainee team, explaining the suits and their team attacks. I'm pretty sure Agri and Mone are supposed to be siblings, actually.
I wasn't big on Shinkenger myself; it had some gorgeous visuals, but I personally didn't like any of the characters and thus found it hard to remain interested in it.
I haven't been watching MMPR, but I did watch some of the redone shows and I'm like... "IF IT AIN'T BROKE THEN WHY DID YOU TRY AND 'FIX' IT." It was cute for about 10 minutes then just got more and more cringeworthy.

Hopefully I'll be able to follow this one the whole series through.
I stopped watching Shinkenger after ep 8 or something.
