Well, that's odd. I had no problem getting mine to breed with Ditto. Anyways! They'll breed eventually, but it will take longer (more steps). If the Daycare Man says, "They'd rather play with other pokemon", they wont breed at all. Good luck!

Oooh, OK, thanks. I think in past games, "they don't like each other" meant they would not breed so I assumed it was the case this time.

(I had to ask Phil and Kevin because I don't know too much about breeding. I just stick them in the daycare and forget about them... then I happen to pass by the daycare app and see that I have an egg. lol)

Heheh... I pay attention because it's my starter in there. I hate being separated from my Bill. :(

Yeah, I wish I could just breed Bill with something else, but since he's male, the resulting child would be of the mother's species if it's not a Ditto. I need Turtwig eggs to trade over the GTS, especially to get a Piplup and Chimchar.

Oh, man, if you could get me Bulbasaur, Chikorita and Treecko, I'd love that. <3 I want a dream team of grass starters. I dunno what I'd give you in return, though...
