Do Shunsui’s family know Ukitake and/or Nanao? Do they get along with them if they do know them?

I think Shunsui's family probably know of Ukitake for sure. For some reason I can see Shunsui knowing Ukitake's family, but not so much the reverse. That's probably more to do with Shunsui's family than anything else. But, that's just an impression I get. I get the feeling that Shunsui is not all that close with his family. Perhaps they are just far away. If Shunsui and Nanao are in a relationship, then yes I think the acquaintance would be essential. I don't think it's necessarily that they don't like Shunsui's friends, they just seem to be a bit apart. I'd like to think they would get along if they were together :)

As long as Ukitake has been friends with Kyouraku, they at least know who he is and get along with him. With Nanao, they might only know her as Shunsui's vice-captain. If they know her better they might get along fairly well.
