I'm sorry to hear that. If it would help your grandfather, give him my condolences.

It is unfortunate, but sometimes when we extend our trust to others, they repay us with ungratefulness. It wasn't Captain Maximillian's fault for trusting him. We can't always tell who's out to abuse our faith in others.

I can't say I was fond of him to begin with, given all I'd heard of the situations he's put my grandfather into. Good riddance, I say.

How shameful. It seems as though you're better without him.

Sometimes things like this happen, even to the best of us. The important thing is that it doesn't mean he's incompetent or that there are no trustworthy people out there.

I would like to think so, though I confess I feel badly that I would wish my grandfather would believe it as much as I do. It seems a horrid thing to wish.

I honestly don't know how far Roan will get... we're not exactly close to anything right now, and the monsters are still vicious. As a group we're still facing some difficulties.

This is so frustrating!!! I can't believe someone would do something of the sort to my grandfather!!
