Here's the explanation I promised you.
This is not the world we know of. This is an alterate world that looks identical to what we remember of it. Luc and his two assistants of sorts, Sarah and Yuber, visited a site that Luc and Sarah recalled as standing, but Yuber saw it as nothing but ruins. Luc brought me to the same place today. I saw the exact same thing Yuber did.
I think Leknaat has called us here, but I don't know why. My traveling companion, Cassandra, saw someone appear: Roan, who wrote in the journals shortly afterwards. This is why no one can remember who we are; we never existed here in the first place until now. Hikusaak is the exception, as he is recognized as the High Bishop. I do not know the reason for this yet.
I only wish I knew what this world's purpose is, but whatever it is seems to be closely-tied to True Runes. Leknaat is the bearer of half the Gate Rune. She appeared before both Roan and Cassandra when she gave Roan his journal.
Luc and I discovered something else unusual today, if you'd like me to tell you about that.
