just for the record though, we didn't have an open bar, we had a no-host bar, which means that people pay for their drinks at the bar, and the venue gets the profits. Although we did luck out, because they only charged for alcohol - but that depends on the place.
I like your wedding rules though, that should cover a lot for you!
