I'm sorry for your loss. *hugs* As you said, when death is a relief from suffering, it can be a welcome thing, but it is still a loss for the survivors.

I think that was incredibly tasteless and insensitive on the part of your boss. Hell, I've only been in management for a few months, and even I know better than that. a) you've suffered a bereavement, and b) it's not like you always get to choose what flight you take back, especially operating on short notice. *shakes head*

Thanks. This was also a Tuesday after a Monday holiday. Everyone that didn't fly on Monday for business would be flying Tuesday. Oh well. What goes around comes around.
