Marathon Goal Pace! If I want to run a 3:45 marathon, the 26.2 miles must average 8:35 per mile. (There's calculators to figure that out.)

That means I need to do a lot of runs at 8:35/mile, or my MGP, to try to get my body used to how that pace feels, so I can find it more easily on race day.

Is Philly a Boston-Qualifying race? Not that I'm heavily hinting that you should run the Philly marathon. I would never selfishly suggest you should run the Philly marathon.

Ha! It not only is, it's supposed to be a popular one for qualifying, and it's already at the top of my list of ones to do next. Vacation+marathon! (Will Pippin share his couch with me?)

I'm pretty sure Pippin can be convinced to share. Besides, he's short, he doesn't take up much room.
