Awesome report!ext_844511October 22 2011, 01:16:36 UTC
I saw the link to your report on a FB friends wall and got to reading. What a great report. Thank you for writing it. It is very inspiring to read your account of the inner struggle and how you overcame it. The video of you running is just awesome, despite your description, it looks like you were running strong to me. WAY to GO!! The last part where Matt ran you in made me cry, you are a lucky woman.
I followed you here from runners. What an awesome run, and a great report! Congratulations.
And thank you for inspiring me to get back out there. I have languished a little since my first marathon last year, but now I want to run again! But not 50 miles. I don't think. Well, maybe...
Also, what is with the post run appetite loss. I had exactly the same thing after my marathon. All my friends were tucking in to burgers and fries, and I could barely manage a few mouthfuls.

Your race report was so long, I had a brownie, ice cream, and yes, even my own coughing fit in the middle of it...
Peeing on the run is pretty awesome. I don't think I've done it during a straight out run, but in triathlon.
Doing races when no one is around *IS* a lot harder than when other people are around, whether just racers or spectators, too.
I love all the photos, and your descriptive words. I feel like I was there, too! ...with the puppies!! ;)
