Ok funny story...

Wednesday my friend comes up to me after her organ lesson and says "Oh my gosh you will never believe what Dr. Lewis just said. He said, 'We're going to use a soft register today, I have a hangover." HA! Gotta love Fat Tuesday.

Well we made it through our first orchestra concert for the semester, and it was a big one. We played 6 concertos/arias. AH! I am ridiculously exhausted from it. It lasted almost 2 friggn hours. About 300 schools in the area are cancelled because of snow...Hope College is not one of them. Why you may ask? Because most of the friggn professors live with in walking distance. hmm, grr. lol Ooooooh snow.

I'm taking a break from practicing right now...so I'm updating my journal here in the music library in Nykerk, in my sexy organ shoes.  And when I say sexy I mean they look like the pat-n-leather shoes I used to wear to church when I was a kid...only they're not pat-n-leather...just plain black...anyways.

CLASS OF 2009 WON THE NYKERK CUP!!! YAY FOR US!!!

Last night was so much fun. Its sad though that that was the last time we could compete in the competition. The past month has been crazy hectic with all those practices but it was worth it. :) Here are some pictures from the weekend!
