Summary: Kim Jaejoong lies. It's what he does. But the one thing that he's always been honest about (well at least to himself) is finding his other half. His one true love.
So, when he meets Jung Siwon, he thinks he's done it...finally found the one. However, things hit the roof when Siwon's younger brother (and Jaejoong's childhood friend) comes home from America and pulls Jaejoong with him into a world that even he couldn't possibly make up... because let's face it, Yunho's out to make an honest man out of the liar...and he's going to give Jaejoong everything he's ever wanted. If not always in the way everyone expects.
Prologue:
Mark Twain once wrote that, “A man is never more truthful than when he acknowledges himself a liar.”
Well then, I guess I’m going to be considered pretty damned truthful then, because let’s face it…I do tend to lie…sometimes…well no... occasionally…oh alright…a lot.
Yes. I am a horrible liar and possibly the worst human being alive.
Because I lie.
And because you don’t.*Rolls Eyes*
Now, let’s not get ahead of ourselves.
It isn’t as if I make up life altering, world ending, and soul destroying kind of lies.
Nah-uh.
But I do tend to make up tiny little aspects of my life, like let’s say the imaginary boyfriend in the sixth grade (and the one a couple of years ago), or the big “I’m adopted and nobody loves me” fiasco in the seventh grade, oh oh and not to mention the all important answer to the biggest question in my adolescent life -“Why are you always absent from school, Jaejoong?” …“I have leukemia”.
Sigh.
None of those ended really well. Because let’s face it…those lies sucked.
I just deluded myself into believing that they didn’t.
“Too dramatic,” my best-friend Yoochun stated empathetically ten years later… when I spilled the so called beans one sad, pathetic, drunken night, somewhere in between Christmas and New Year.
A smack across his head and the all too pleasurable feeling of my middle finger up his right nostril were what he received for that particular epiphany.
Ah…those were some good times.
Yoochun always sits about five feet away from me nowadays and says that it gives him a head start in case I decide to lose my “God forsaken mind”.
As if I can’t catch him.
Fool.
And he calls me ‘dramatic’.
Alright.
Stop.
Geez.
Are you trying to distract me? Because seriously…stop…I have ADHD.
Ooh. Cat.
See what I did there?
ADHD.
Anyway.
This story isn’t about my attempts at making my lies a beatific reality of acceptance and zero regret.
No.
This is the story of how I finally beat it all.
How I got the clichéd happily-ever after that all those (all right some) creepy little children always dream of.
The all too elusive prince charming that finally swept me of my feet.
The one who made life interesting enough for me to never ever want to lie ever again, because puh-lease…after all of that…normal everyday life seemed pretty damned great.
Okay.
I just lied again.
I love the psychotic life I lead with him.
Normal to me is like peanut butter to tar.
It just does not happen.
But enough of this.
Let me take you back…back to a time when panic, mayhem, insanity and love were only creations of my own deluded mind.
A time when my prince charming wasn’t the one who I finally ended up with.
And when Jung Yunho…
Was nothing more than the annoying little brother of the most perfect being alive.

A/N I needed to get in some Yunjae in all the Jaemin I've been writing. This story is like a project to me...I'm still pretty uncertain about it.
