Finally got my SSN... man, it took more than 3 weeks for it to be delivered...
I expected SSN card to be some chamak card, atleast a plastic card... it turned out to be a piece of paper... man.. and you r not supposed to laminate it... don't know how long it will sustain the conditions in my house...

Congrats! And yeah, guess what we had stuff like our birth certificates & marriage certificate laminated and they said that in the US govt. offices, they don't take any laminated documents :(. Anyways, thankfully we haven't had to use them anywhere.. but we do need to find a way to delaminate them!

why the hell you want to laminate that? you are not going to carry it anywhere with you. just keep it in a safe place.
