What's the MAT, and why are they curious about chimney flues?

It's the Miller's Analogy Test. It uses a lot of general knowledge for the questions instead of just word meaning. It's like the GRE in that it's a grad school test only it has no math on it. Since I me and math dont get along at all, this works out well for me. Well except for the chimney flue thing but now I know.
