The duck-story is priceless. And the Charlie Rose segment was really impressive. He sure knows what he's talking about and he certainly doesn't shy away from saying unpopular and uncomfortable truths. *adores Viggo*
Thanks again for sharing this and giving me poor German a chance to see Viggo.
You're welcome! I'm ever grateful to mrsbean!! I missed the Charlie Rose one myself so I'm happy to have the download to...I haven't watched it yet but everyone says he was marvelous on it. And he was so cute on the Letterman show...so nervous but still so adorably weird and funny...hee!
I know, I think Dave's got a quirky enough sense of humor that he understands Viggo better than some others do! It was fun to watch them be silly together...hee!
Just today I've had a conversation with a friend (Elijah-fan) who I pretty much know for over 3 years - so we go on about how our fandomness has sort grown up, that we are to old to swoon and scream and wanna marry the guys.
yeah. Or that we would be fine with them having girlfriends if they are happy yadda yadda yadda...
I take it back.
After my last virus I lost all my Viggo stuff on the pc and I haven't watched lotr for a while. I still write fanfiction about him and see his pictures - but it's very easy to stay in the right mind set like that. ("It's not Viggo I want, he just holds something that makes me put all my longings and dreams of a man into him") It's so much harder to keep that attitude watching these interviews *sigh* Oh damn him. ;)
LOL...okay, I'm sorry, then!! hee...I know what you mean, though. Sometimes it's so easy to be all philosophical about it and look at them only as inspiring muses, yada yada. And then a certain image or interview or something and then it's GAH I WANT HIM RIGHT NOW GIMME GIMME!!! *writhes*
So yeah, sorry I kicked you out of philosophical mode. :P Let's just blame Viggo instead, shall we?
