Is this the film that there were rumours of Orlando doing? I can definitely see the Kingdom of Heaven look there. I've never seen Jake in the sort of role this promo looks like so I have no idea if he will be good. Somehow I think he would be too quiet/sensitive to be a ballsy warrior type :S

Yes, Orlando was rumored to be doing this, and I was a bit sad that he didn't--though I'd also thought that maybe it was too much of the same thing he'd already done. Now that I see the poster, it's like Balian reincarnated!
I wondered about Jake's suitability, too. But Jake wasn't too sensitive in Jarhead, so I think he might be able to pull it off. He's definitely a good actor, and he looks gorgeous, so I'm going to give him the benefit of the doubt on this one. :)
I haven't seen Jarhead but I guess this movie will show if he can branch out of the stereotype of him we have in out minds. It will be interesting for that angle at least.
It's been rolling around in the rumors section for so long that I just basically forgot about it. It's not actually out until May 2010, so it's a bit early for any big buzz. :)
