I think with "History of Violence" he really honed his darker side. The way he was able to move from softness to cruelty with just a shift in his eyes was incredible. I'm hoping for the same magic here.
I will have to drool over the screencaps after I've seen the film! :)
Thank you for the reminder--I remembered to watch! Aside from the unfortunate beard, he is wayyyy too skinny. Why is everyone so thin now? Gah. *gives him cookie* He was a treat to watch as ever, though. He's always kind of like a mischievous little boy...hee!
Yeah, Viggo's always been thin but sometimes he seems to go too far. He had on a very slim, close-cut suit but then it still looked baggy on his legs. Not good! Plus he gets real angular in the face. Maybe it's for this western movie he's doing--or just from the strain of doing it!
You're right, Angelina is too thin, too. She has such a lovely figure, why let it go away! Argh!
Hee...as it gets later my typos always increase. It also is affected by my excitement level... *G*
The unfortunate facial hair is thankfully for a movie role and not of his own choice...gah...but it's sad that every time he's doing an interview circuit he's got some kind of weird 'stache going. Argh. He needs to do a movie where he's all pretty with strawberry flowing hair again...*sniff*
He was darling as ever, though, if too damn skinny. He and Letterman seem to have a good time. :P
The facial hair is unfortunate, but he was still a treat to watch. I love his offbeat sense of humor, and it seemed this audience got him a little better than they usually do!
Yes, he does look scary! But apparently he might have a good side in this movie as well...I think he does enjoy doing these morally ambiguous characters. :P
Hee...yes, all the signs are there! He's got loads of tattoos as well. :P But apparently he's got a sliver of goodness going on...possibly...I'm not sure of it all as I'm trying to remain as spoiler-free as possible! :P

Reminds me of Angelina Jolie and her recent skinniness. I love that woman. Oh, Angie... ; ;

I'm not sure how I feel about the red suit though....

You're right, he and Letterman do seem to play off each other nicely. I like it when people actually get Viggo because he's really awfully funny. :)

Therefore, he must be playing an evil baddie.
Oh, the slicked-back hair is another dead giveaway.
