I totally love Drew's dress. And the people who say it's horrid and looks like a lettuce are just wrong. :P

I think the reason I get all wibbly over Eric is that he's so big and strong and protective looking. I bet he gives good hugs that just envelop you too. Plus, who can resist an Aussie? Impossible, non?

Heee...yeah, I suppose it might be somewhere between the two pronunciations if you put that Aussie twist on it...though perhaps the Croation pronunciation of his full name has something to do with it. The problem is that so few performers ever say their own name out loud. Ergh.

And I am obviously not from your country...hee...is a stair-lift the same as an escalator?

I love Drew's dress, too. I'm tired of anyone who dresses different getting slammed. It's like "ooh, pink is in" and then every single person has a pink dress on and has their hair styled exactly the same way. It's so BORING. Kudos to Drew and her pretty green dress!

Yeah, when all those Cannes pics came out with Eric wrapping his arms so squishily around Orlando and nuzzling him and slapping his big gorgeous hands all over everyone...*wibble* I was a total goner. And you're right...the Aussie boys are difficult to resist. :P

She is gorgeous and does have great skin but in the high-res shots you can see concealer all over her back and shoulders and neck. She must have been broken out that day. Just sayin'. *innocent whistling* I feel better when I spot flaws on my favorite stars. I know it's juvenile but it helps me cope. That dress is beautiful, though, and she is absolutely hot in it, and I'd still totally devour her. ;P

Heh, I hadn't looked that closely...too busy perving on Eric. :P I think it's rare for anyone to have perfect skin all of the time. It must be so much pressure for artists to have to be "flawless"! I wish they were allowed to be more real, it would make all of us feel better, including them!

That full bottom lip, and those dimples...and his HUGE hands...and those LONG legs...those muscular arms...and shirtless his chest just makes me shiver...not to mention those incredibly soulful hypnotic eyes...He's so gorgeous but again one of those guys like Ewan McGregor that I just *know* I would fall absolutely madly in love with. God he's just SO TALL and HUGE and built like a *GOD*. ::dissolves::

Good gravy, you made me swoon with your lovely list of Eric's attributes...*purrs* I agree with you on all counts...there's so much to go crazy for with him and most of all I love his charm and humor. I would be so totally batting my eyelashes and grinning madly--just like Drew is up there...hee! I do love those tall, dark and handsome men. *rowrr*

And Ewan is not very tall and not dark at all...hee...but I love him too. His smile is what slays me every time...gahhh...he's got the best cheeky grin of anyone...hee!

I'm a bit worried about the movie because I'm not sure exactly what the tone of it is supposed to be...but some of it seems adorable so I'm hoping for the best. It doesn't have to be brain surgery...like you say, we just want to see pretty Eric as much as we can!

Someplace listed him as a "womanizing poker player" or something like that, and he said it was a "lovestory between a man and his father" and that it wasn't really about him and Drew. I got the impression that they threw her in for eye candy to make people watch a daddy issues film. He's got an American accent in it, from the clip I saw, though, which was interesting. I'll see it no matter what. It can't suck as badly as the Hulk. I hated him after that movie. >:(

Heh...yeah, Hulk was "a bit of a miss" as Sean Bean would say. :P I think I liked Eric okay but hubby and I found the movie incredibly boring. But then not long ago they started showing it on cable every third day and I kept watching bits of it just to see Eric...and I started to get that movie more. I mean, not that it miraculaously became a brilliant film but I understood what he'd been going for but it just didn't quite work out. And I realized, too, that we loved the Hulk TV show because it was always about him helping people and being noble. And this was too much of a backstory movie, and too much CGI mindless monster stuff

Mmmmm...eyes, dimples, muscles ...really the whole package & such a sweetheart to top it all off! It's no wonder he just makes me melt! I noticed when he was on Jay Leno to promote Troy, Jay said his name that way too. Like you, I've always assumed it was a short "a" sound too. Could be wrong, but I really don't care. His name could be Rumpelstiltskin and he would still be a joy to look at! And ditto the Drew squee! She looks utterly fabulous!!

I know, Eric is one of those guys where it's not just one thing like great eyes or abs or something. He's just fabulous in so many ways, and the charm and humor and that little tiny hint of danger in those dark eyes...rowwrrrr...never mind those incredible legs. *gurgle*

I wish there was somewhere we could find Eric saying his *own* name so we could hear how he pronounces it. Occasionally stars will do a promo for something, you know, and say "Hi, I'm Eric Bana and..." and then you can hear it straight from the source. I always had my maiden name mispronounced and hated it so I try not to screw up other people's names if I can help it!

But you're right, a Bana by any other name would smell as sweet...or something like that. Hee!

Drew does look great and I love how she's swooned over Eric from the very beginning. She has good taste! :P
