I was like WTF? at first and then once I got into the vid I realized it was a total parody...heh...apparently it was an April Fool's gig for her fans. She did a send-up of pop music and herself all at once. I just love it. And you're right, it is kinda pretty but it makes you listen to the "lyrics" all that more keenly and EEK! :P
