You quite possibly have the coolest hubby ever.

Yes indeed darlin, you got yourself a keeper there. And, if you ever go insane and decide to get rid of him, you had better give us first dibs!

He vetted the Jake Gyllenhaal pictures for you?! *squees herself hoarse* That is soooo marvelous.

And happy Valentine's day to you too. *smooches the pretty boys and devours the chocolate* Yum to both!

*returns to pretty boy search* *waves*

LOL...one gently used hubby, up for auction on the Shrine to Lust site! *G*

Oh, who am I kidding, I'm not always gentle! ;)

I think I was actually standing there with my jaw hanging down when he said he'd scoped out the pics already. He of course knows the intense disappointment involved when someone makes the cover of a magazine and then there's only one small pic inside or something equally cruel...heh. *hugs hubby to bits* He's an absolute peach.

I think he's been trying to cushion the blow of two family members in two days offering me jobs and telling me I should just "give up" on the writing thing. Does wonders for one's self-confidence, let me tell you.

Are you sure you're not devouring the pretty boys as well as the choccy? *G*

*waves back*

Hee! I would be hugely disappointed to learn that you were always gentle! But he's tough as well as darling and i'm sure he loves it.

It's not just disappointment when there are no good pics inside, it's the feeling that you've been ripped off!

OH, UGH! They actually told you you should give up on it? Would this be their sense of financial endangerment on your behalf? Oh! I'm so sorry. I fully believe people should try to do what makes them happy. Perhaps it doesn't work out, but maybe it does and either way, there's an enormous amount of learning along the way. Good luck

And how did you know I was devouring pretty boys? I was out searching for pretty Gago pics when this popped up. Meep!

Yes, hubby is my own SeanOrliJakeEric rolled into one loveable package. *G* And he can take it...lol. You've got a good one yourself, haven't you? *hides hubby from view*

You're right about being ripped off with some of these mags! I totally learned to check now, and I've saved myself some cash. Especially when if it's someone like Orli, all I have to do is go online and someone's scanned the whole thing anyway! :P

And yes, "give up" were the exact words. I know they mean well, but it's not as if we're living in a box or something due to financial strain. But basically everyone in my family gave up creative impulses in order to do the "proper" thing, so they can't understand why I'm being so reckless. I was also told that it was too stressful to take all that rejection. Yes, it is stressful, but so is having one's family gang up on one. Grr.

I knew it was a good bet you were nibbling on a footie boy...hee! *smooshes you*

Would you mind sending him over for a couple weeks? *snerk* He seems absolutely precious. But then again so does the guy I've been dating for a couple weeks:D

I would be terribly afraid to lend him out...I might not get him back! *clings* He is definitely a peach. He has his Man Moments, of course...lol...but I am verrry lucky.

Good luck with your new guy! I hope he continues to be precious!

Ok, so normally I don't like Jake AT ALL, but even I have to admit that is a nice picture. You're still not going to turn me though :P

Your hubby rocks!

Have you seen Jake in a movie? I totally didn't get the mystique until I saw him in Brokeback Mountain. The first moment he was on screen, my mouth just fell open and I made embarrassing grunting sounds. The boy is sort of an all encompassing presence...very expressive eyes and the charming crooked smile...

Anyway, I'm glad you like the piccy. It IS a good one. And ya never know, I might turn you yet. *G*

And thank you! Hubby is definitely a pretty cool dude. :)

*squees over your icon*

Hmmm I saw Brokeback and I had seen that one that was on the other night with the global freezing thing. I guess I just don't see that quality in him. Maybe me really thinking he's gay isn't help in me being attracted to him :S but that's not normally an issue, in fact, that normally helps! :S I have no idea.

Am I still allowed to visit The Shrine and perve over the rest of the pretty boys?

Hee...well, I do generally perv less over gay men, so I can understand that. I always like the option of being with them to exist, even if it's never actually going to happen. *G*

Boy perving is very subjective, so I don't fault anyone for not perving the exact same way I do! Do feel free to stick around the Shrine and glomp on the other pretteh...hee!

Where can I buy a husband like that?

I adore men who are comfortable enough in their own masculinity to not only feel not the least bit threatened by their wife/girlfriend perving on younger/prettier/richer/etc men, but also to feel quite comfortable looking at pictures of said eye-candy and judging the pervability of these pictures (correctly, no less). That is love (:

The fact that he then delivers the magazine with a smile (and OMG!Chocolate!) makes me want to kidnap him and hide him in my basement :)

Oh, if only I had a basement...

Happy Valentine's Day!

You have to harvest them young...hee...I found hubby when he was 17 so we've had a long time to get to know all of each other's crazy quirks. :)

And it is lovely that hubby is exactly as you've described. I couldn't have ever stayed with a jealous/possessive man, it just wouldn't have worked. And he's learned that feeding my horniness level works in his favor. :) We used to joke about him doing commercials for the LOTR extended editions, that he'd be urging men to buy it for their wives and watch their sex lives just soar...lol!

And please, no kidnapping! *clings to hubby* I need him desperately!

Happy Val Day! xoxox
