I think I'm going to blame perseph2hades for this one...for using this man as a muse for a delectably devilish character in her Secret Service fics. AUGH!
I know...it was a testament to how incredible he is, that he stood out with such a short amount of screen time. Hmmm...now I'm wanting to watch that again!
It's all Persephone's fault? Please, you pervy creature, you're killing me! That said, I can hardly fault you for your taste - Clive is indeed a long, cool drink of water.
the full effect of his suave grace and sensuality As Annie would say in Bull Durham, "Oh, my!"
I was reading the interview with him in the latest GQ - after scoping the H&M ads featuring Maldini, of course.
Another sweet little Clive film is Greenfingers. I think that is one that you would love.
LOL...yes, I'm pervy, but it was Tommy dry-humping Steve in his office and purring and growling that got me picturing Clive in that supremely drrrrty-boy way. It's always Perseph's fault, isn't it? She inspires the porn so often...hee...
And I love Annie...oh my! indeed! :P She would love Clive, wouldn't she? Definitely.
Clive is an unusual one for me, especially of late, since he's definitely not in the "pretty" category. Isn't that what GQ said? He's handsome but in a manly way so men like him too? :P I wish I'd bought that issue now, with Maldini ads and all!
I shall have to check out this Clive film. I got extra intrigued in him when reading IMDB and it said he's played gay, bi, and incestuous characters. *meep*
Yeah, I was kind of surprised you liked Clive, because he is older and a lot more masculine than I've seen you go for. Greenfingers is really a terribly sweet, funny, serious, movie and I think that you will simply adore him in that role. That was when I first fell in love with him.
And Tommy. I just made him the villain. Leave it to Perseph to make him the dirty, sexy, horny villain. Although I think she is going to take one of us up on the suggestion that Tommy and Gabriele would go beautifully together. *rowr* We may not survive, but what a death.
OMG. I just love Annie. She is just the most fabulous character. And she would adore Clive. Garters, yeah. *nods*
I'll email you the Maldini ads - I didn't buy the mag because I felt certain someone would post the ads.
Hee...I like the manly men once in awhile. Basically, the only hard and fast rule (heheheh, she said hard...) is that I loooooove men. If I have any sort of pattern I repeat it would prolly be tall, dark and handsome, and not American. So Clive falls into that category for sure. Kinda like Eric Bana, Hugh Jackman, Colin Firth, Jeremy Northam, Antonio Banderas, etc etc. And of course Orlando. :P
For a long time I had a raging obsession with Willem Dafoe. Definitely can't call him pretty...hee... So there's definitely a range. :)
Piper said Tommy should have his own series. I'm quaking at the thought. All those randy exploits, culminating in a delicious romp with Gabriele. *clutches desk for support* AUGHHHH! And then maybe, just for closure, a little Tommy/Casey/Steve threesome...*flails*
Thank you for the Maldini pretteh...*gobbles* Isn't it lovely how peeps share all the goodies?
I've been a Clive fan for a while. His voice kills me, and as you so rightly pointed out, he shares that knicker-melting talent with Sean Bean. NNnnggghhhh.
I loved Inside Man just for him. All the critics were salivating over Jodie Foster (whom I've loved for ages), but to me, Clive was the lethal weapon in the flick. Boy howdy, yeah.
So Clive is in The Shrine now, yes? *rubs hands together gleefully* ;D
I haven't seen Clive in a lot, but have always found him appealing. He's one of those slow burn kinda guys...every time I see him I get a little more excited. *G*
Can you imagine being in the same room with him and Seanie at the same time? I would essplode!
Jodie was great, but I agree, Clive really sold that movie. I mean, from the opening, when he had that monologue, and quoted Shakespeare with that little hint of a smug smirk? *brays* I was hooked. He and Denzel really got this film cooking.
Clive should be in the Shrine, shouldn't he? I'm definitely in need of an update with new piccies and all...hmm...all these men, I'm gonna run out of space! *G*
