My Story Yes,this industry is distinctly male dominated and the hours are long, the pay, atleast my pay, is good enough.So far, I have progressed till the comparables part and done a bit of financial modelling (but only during training,no practical experience so far). There is one important difference though,I didn't choose investment banking,

Thank you, for the best wishes and I would certainly post more about my experiences as I progress in my career. The only catch here is, that I am not sure how long I would stick to i-banking because as I have said before, I had not planned on it..it just happened. Let's see where my career takes me in the next few years. :)

It is a beautiful thing to hear someone says that he or she loves his or her job. Don't let those guys ruin that feeling for you. Just be yourself and soon they will see who they are dealing with.
