INTO THE FOG
The game manual provides a short and not very in-depth description of your character. What does it say about the first impression the player will get from you? Alicia is a terrified young woman you meet in the depths of Silent Hill, who clings to you in hopes of being able to find a way out.
And which important factor are they missing, seeing as they can't yet reveal what the player will find out about your true nature later? As poliet and friendly as I am, I wouldn't bat an eyelash at letting you suffer for my own self interest. I'm also probably pocketing the health drinks that you don't notice immediately.
It's all about the family, right? So what are your views on that subject? Families are important! I could go quoting what I know from psych textbooks but all that fundamental stuff goes without saying--on a more personal level, I'd certainly follow my brother or my father into Silent Hill if I was in Harry's situation; just not my Mom, for reasons I'm not going to get into in a ratings community since that would be weird of me.
And how about faith? Any comments on that? There are times that I wish I was truely passionate about something and in that way I'm sort of jealous of people who have a religion that they believe and can feel a certain way about. I mean, granted people can go way overboard and I do of course scoff at things like that, but I don't think simply beliving in God is a bad thing.
Do you consider yourself independent? Yes. I live on my own now and I tend to handle things by myself, though I'm still financially dependant on my parents which is something that makes me kind of uneasy but not something I can help at this stage in my life.
Do others agree? I'd imagine so.
Would you describe yourself as a helpful person? I really am, though my applications usually seem like I'm not since I don't think I'd be in a Silent Hill situation. I do anything I can for the people who are close to me, and even with strangers I hold the door, or pick things up or hold the elevator for people getting their mail and things like that.
Would others do so as well? I certainly hope so!
THE OTHER CHURCH
Do you prefer to be with people who are leaders or followers? It depends, I guess, if I feel like being in the lead or not in a certain situation. I'm kind of awful at making decision at times though, so most of the times I'd say it's leaders.
Do you tend to attract shy or outgoing people? Outgoing. Most of my friends seem fairly outgoing, and I'm pretty shy myself, so I'd need an outgoing person to initiate the first meeting.
Is it better to be optimistic or pessimistic? Definitely pessimistic, then you can't be disappointed. I think if this application was filled out like a month ago I would have sort of flip flopped on this, but as I'm trying desperately not to look forward to something that may not happen, pessimistic is the way to go.
Do you like your surroundings light or dark? I'm such a night person but I prefer to leave the lights on all night so I'm thinking light. I like having a good view of what's around me, if I'm in the same room for long periods of time I still look around occassionally. Also, I dunno, I live in this tiny apartment and when it's dark I just feel sort of lame I guess.
Are you more of a cat or a dog person? I used to be such a dog person until I actually owned a cat. When you go to other's peoples homes and see their cats they're kind of aloof and unaffectionate and seem like lame pets, but after building a relationship with my brother's cats, I've learned how awesome and silly and weird they are. I like that sort of thing, y'know, animals with distinict personalities. Having Silent Hill themed cats helps, too, haha.
NOWHERE
In the game, did you save Cybil or did you let her die? I think I was using a walkthrough, so I think I did. ( Did save her, that is! Small edit since I realized from the first vote that that wasn't clear! )
Would that also be your choice if the situation was real? Probably not. Not only would I not have figured HOW to save her in that situation, I wouldn't have risked my own life for her sake. See also: In to the fog question 2, haha.
What about Lisa? What would you do in Harry's place? I'm not sure. As sick as it is to say, I think I would have stayed and watched what happened to her, exactly. I was always sort of mad that Harry didn't, since I wanted to see.
Do you like setting things on fire? I used to. I got over the whole "I'm really edgy and cool" thing awhile ago though.
Lastly, which ONE Silent Hill 1 character do you consider yourself least like and WHY? Cheryl, because she doesn't have a personality, haha.
