Just want to know if it's okay to not add sake for meat mixture? Will it makes the taste different or what? :3 >> well yeah, can you tell that I rarely cook? xD

adding Sake makes gives the food a different depth in flavour as well as help tenderize the meat a bit.
try getting cooking Sake as its cheaper than the drinking sake.
however if you cant find sake, or you cant eat it for religious reasons. then its okay to leave it out. ^^

ahh, is that so xD So, without adding sake the meat will be kind of hard?
Part of the reason is because my friend can't eat it for religious reason but since it's been cooked, the alcoholic part must have gone isn't it? But I still need to ask here first though and will see if I can find cooking sake here :D

hahaha, yeees xD all I can do is instant foods, fried/boiled eggs and pasta (aglio olio only :p)

I am sorry for the late reply!~ Uni's been kicking my butt and I havent had time to check LJ
Nope! its okay without the sake as well. They say it makes it more tender but I honesly dont feel any difference even without it. I find it mostly helps remove porky or beefy smell. but I used chicken this time.
oo! yeap i have a muslim friend as well, she told me she can eat alcoholic food as long as its been cook off but i know some people still cant eat it. it depends on the person.
I am sure you can do without the sake! ^^

hahahah! if you can make pasta and boiled eggs thats already better than sho! XD
