I thought a lot about accents, partly because of smjoshsims's post about them a while back, but also because of all the travelling I've done recently. So I've reconfigured my map of where things are and their accents in my head, and now I have to somehow think about how I get this across. Or whether I should just not bother.

Oh, Pirya looks so gorgeous there. I like that you gave her an oriental look.

The Ramaswamis are a great couple. I have played them in three different hoods so far. Their kids have beeen a bit "tight-lipped" - I think they get that from Priya.

Thanks! I just loved that outfit from the Holiday Pack, and I couldn't really see myself being able to use it on another sim. And she just looks so FANTASTIC in it.

Oooh but at least they're not just 'gorgeous' because I hate that :P.

You see that she eventually did grow some lips, but her eyes are kind of problematic. You cannot give her any eye make-up, because it smudges her face entirely. I did not post her pics on my Maxis spawn post, because she looks so much like all the kids the Ramaswamis have had in my game.

Neela is cute! I actually love her long nose and tiny pinched lips and eyes :D Hmm...but if all their kids look the same, I may have to introduce some infidelity :(

They look great! :) The Ramaswamis make good looking spawn, actually. They're kinda weird as toddlers, but grow up really well. Sanjay's nose is pretty severe, in a good way.

Too bad you lost the Ottomas makeover. I'd like to see it!

Thanks! I'm glad that they get the nose, because that's one of my favourite parts ;) and I love interesting looking sims.

Urgh. I also lost the additions to their house too and discovered that I probably have some bad CC, so now it's time to do the 50/50 dance :(. But I'll probably redo it in the next few days, so will post in about another three weeks time because I never post. :P

Awesome, they're both so beautiful in a non-face-one/two way! Priya is so stunning in that dress (must get my hands on that Holiday pack!)

I really like the dress too... it's not technically a sari, but it's SO PURTY.
I don't think Holiday Pack is really worth the $20 you have to pay to get it separately, although that number is probably different for you. There are some nice outfits and some interesting decorations. Plus the ability to have New Year's and Christmas type things, but I'm not sure if you'd want that.

Oh, the price would be very much different for me ;) I already have the other holiday pack, it has the party and the fire-crackers and what not, but it doesn't have the saris! And there's a pretty hair IIRC. But I'm afraid I'll mess up my current installation. Ah, decisions, decisions...
