omg the desert looks really a nice and beauty place *v* those photos look good vv that's great if you had fun there~ where did you all get the water supply btw? :O
why did your face always get covered in the photos :V
it's nice but I wouldn't stay there for too long orz nights and mornings are so cold, then the rest of the day is so hot and the shade is some poor trees and the shade you get from high mountains or in canyons /u\;
ah the Suliman carried a big amount of water we brought from home, plus everyone brought 2 liter water and filled them in the morning on top of that each group carried 4 jerrycans of water and we were told to drink from them first to make it lighter 'u'
Baw back in my days of highschool we never get to have trips like these :( unless you're in a club or something. Then again back then my mom won't allow me to go absolutely anywhere by myself *has dull childhood OTL||||||||*
Was kinda confused when you say you're at lower left of the pic, i was kinda "eh? lower left? where?" then figured that it's actually lower right to my point of view, lmao.
ehh how come )): also it's not like it was by myself, half of my year came and we had 4 guides, some teachers with us + paramedics and armed guards 'u' but it's really a shame you didn't go on anything like this, it was exciting and fun ):
oh yeahh I just remembered it was my left but yeah it's the pic's right -edits-
Hahahaha you see, my mom apparently thinks i'm so absent-minded that i'd get separated from my group or something and get lost ;;;;; i admit i'm pretty slow but i'm not that dumb OTL
even if you will stay behind, the guard always walks behind and everything. and just in case, there usually are other groups behind so they can pick lost people up 'u'
wow!! we have nothing like that here unless you fly out west/south, and its still not the same. I would love that trip! it looks like you had fun.
my highschool would have never in a million years let us go for that long. Liability. LOL
my college does a similar 2-week trip to the desert out west every year but its a grueling 30 or 40 mile hike down cliffs and in the hot summer sun, i'm too girly to do that (ill hike the hell out of temperate areas tho)
science nerd: wow, those gullies and channels are so nice, i bet a billion years ago that place was paradise :O
are you serious? it's pretty normal over here 'u' that's way it's called an annual year, cos it happens every year, you just go to different places it's either up north or down south in my school's case (but most schools sleeps in inns and not in a camp like us)
according the bible it was a desert LOL like I said, it floods when it rains and water leave quite the mark, but it never was green or something
Ahh this looks so exciting and fun! I'd love to climb all those ladders and all, it would be AMAZING.
You guys and your awesome trips! Hmm there WAS a trip 11 graders did to a place called "Camino de Cruces", a 10km walk and we had to be back before school ended. I really want to go, but I think they canceled it because the 11 graders from last year WHINNED LIKE SISSIES complained too much about it.
Anyway, amazing pictures!! Bet it was a memorable experience <3
I loved the ladders and the heights were really exciting! too bad it was so short )):
...we did 12km on the second day, and they complained about 10? LOL
ah I liked last year's better. more mountain climbing, less hills and plain walking sob. I will gladly climb/go down any ladder but hills will kill me.
I KNOW RIGHT. SISSIES. Then again, you guys had the whole day and they had to be back before 2:30, and you know how much people get. SISSIES I SAY I want to go OTL
