Challenge 01: Talismans
A talisman (from the Greek word "telein" which means "to initiate into the mysteries") is an amulet or other object considered to possess supernatural or magical powers. - from Wikipedia.
1 : an object held to act as a charm to avert evil and bring good fortune
2 : something producing apparently magical or miraculous effects - from Merriam-Webster
What better way to start off a mysterious journey than to find your own talisman to protect you on our travels? Neuro, who finds mysteries quite delicious, has offered to join us as we make our way investigating these mysteries. I tried to decline, but he's very... how should I put this... compelling.
Unfortunately this means - and I apologize in advance - he'll be eating some of your mysteries along the way, in which case you'll be ending your journey. So be sure to develop the best mysteries you can as we go. The more delicious and promising your mystery, the longer Neuro's willing to wait to eat it.
But enough about that...
THE CHALLENGE
This week's challenge is to make an icon that features a talisman, or something being used as a talisman. It could be something very traditional - amulets, charms, crucifixes, other religious or occult relics, etc. or it could be something more original like for example the innocence in D.Gray-Man. Whatever it is, it should be identifiable and noticeable.

The challenge is open to all participants who signed up. If you haven't signed up, there's still time to do so. Sign-ups close when this challenge closes.
checklist/additional information
► your icon must use an official image from any shounen or seinen animanga series
► be creative with your icons - there are no limitations aside from subject and lj icon standards (100x100px, 40 kb - .png is preferred as .jpg compression can leave behind some ugly artifacts)
► please read the rules before submitting
► your submission should be made like this, using the provided form:
